Giant Knitting

$200.00

I’ll be showing you how to knit a giant blanket of your very own, using pure New Zealand wool.

What you'll learn to make in this giant knitting workshop:
Learn basic knitting techniques such as casting on and looping to create basic knit stitches. Become an extreme knitter and leave with a giant knit of your very own!
If you’re an experienced knitter, this will still challenge you. Learn how to negotiate the giant needles and carded wool, share your knowledge!

Having a large knit item made with giant needles is a unique creation that will last forever.
Roving wool included in the cost along with my hand-made GIANT knitting needles for you to take home and continue giant knitting until your heart's content!

What size?
Roughly the size of a single bed. Depending on your stitches and tension, it could be larger or smaller. Depending on your experience and determination on the day, you may complete your blanket in the 3 hour class, or may need to finish at home.

“Such a fulfilling Saturday morning spent painting at Ventana. Brilliant host, she made us all feel so welcome, made it easy to put the paint to canvas. Definitely going back.”
